RAJAGIRI outREACH (CASP) is the professional service wing of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (http://www.rajagiri.edu/) and the major live lab reaching out the communities and the society at large through various field offices established accross the state of Kerala. RAJAGIRI outREACH is accredited, supported by and associated with various Central/State/Local Self Government Departments, International Organizations, Corporates, Hospitals and Local Associations. The live lab is involved in different fields of social work namely child rights, child protection, child sponsorship, community health, family welfare, women empowerment, youth development, skill development, capacity building, livelihood, micro enterprenuership, geriatric care, natural resource management , waste management, water and sanitation, community development, action research etc. It acts as the implementing partner in CSR activities of various corporates.

Een van de deelprojecten van Rajagiri Outreach is de ondersteuning van hogeschoolstudenten uit kansarme gezinnen, met als doelstelling de student en zijn/haar omgeving te steunen in het faciliteren van hun opleiding.
Het boeiende van dit project is dat studenten na hun opleiding zelf sponsors worden in dit initiatief.

Fons Vandormael, docent van VIVES Hogeschool, is sinds 2004 contactpersoon in het studentenuitwisselings- en samenwerkingsproject tussen VIVES en RAJAGIRI college.
