Aid for the education of orphans and vulnerable children.
The A.A.C.O.DE.K organization (Association d’Aides aux Collégiens orphelins du département de Koudougou) was established in early 2013. This organization is active in the villages of Villy and Saria (located +/- 30 km from Koudougou, the third largest city in Burkina Faso). This small-scale project has the following goals:
Supporting students in secondary education who have lost one or both parents in the field of education (purchase of books, school fees, lunch at school, transport to school, etc.).
Increasing the awareness of the parent or guardian of the student concerning the importance of education.
Supporting any initiative in the field of education and literacy for both pupils and teachers (eg library, internet access, exchange with foreign schools, etc.).
Encouraging solidarity and mutual assistance.
